NEW This and NEW That

That was what we talked about at our Weight Watchers meeting this morning.  It was focused around the NEW PointsPlus program.  We talked about our NEW Daily Points, our NEW Weekly Allowance, our NEW 0 Points fruit, and our NEW computation.

I must say the NEW program (PointsPlus) is working well for me.  Most of all it has made me refocus and keep track of my eating again.  Many of my frozen lunches went up in points, so I am looking for new ideas for lunch.  I have added a banana to my breakfast and don't have to worry about it's points value anymore!  And, instead of the worthless, empty 100 calorie packs for an afternoon snack, I now have an apple and don't have to use 2 points (previous points for a 100 calorie pack) to eat it!

January Weigh-In

I weighed in at goal for the month of January 2011!!!

I was about 1.6lbs up from my last meeting (3 weeks ago due to the holiday schedule), but I still felt good.  I think I have some water weight right now (AKA PMS!).  I think that has been the culprit with my lack of blogging and lack of excercise this week.  I hope to get back on the band wagon and might try to start my 30Day Shred again.  We shall see!

Sluggish

Well, I have been very sluggish over the last week or so.  I have not worked out since Wednesday night and I don't know if I will be able to fit it in tomorrow or Tuesday.  I am debating getting up early to go workout both days.  The City Fitness facility opens at 5:30am.  I could get there just before 6am and have a good hour before I need to get home to shower and get to work.  Or, I could rush there after my husband gets home from work and before my sister gets here, but I won't have as much time to get a good run in. 

My excuse? Well, it has been to dang cold to run in the morning, and too dark after my husband gets home from work.  I know, that is not a good excuse, but that is the one I am using.  Sometimes those excuses are what make you sluggish and get you back to where you started. 

NO MORE SLUGGISH! I will get to the fitness facility tomorrow.  Most likely it will be in the morning.  So, I will shoot for Monday and Tuesday!  I will also go on Wednesday and take Thursday off, and go on Friday.  That is my plan for the week.  I hope to come back to you on Friday and report on my goals and achievements this week!
